Abstract:

A method named 'template stripping' for the fabrication of nanoprobes was established. Probes for the application in scanning tunneling microscopy in combination with Raman spectroscopy were manufactured and utilised in TERS (tip-enhanced Raman spectroscopy) applications. Further, substrates for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy and TERS cantilevers for atomic force microscopy in combination with Raman spectroscopy were realised.
