Abstract:
Abstract: Our objective in this work is the design, synthesis, structural, physical characterization and the study of the nonlinear optical properties of the highly soluble substituted monomer, binuclear 10 & 11 and trinuclear 13 & 20 phthalocyanines and molecular substances related to them. Included are also structural modifications of Pc´s functionalization of the Pc systems with (2-ethylhexyloxy) as peripheral substituents, indium acetylacetonate (Inacac) as axial ligand, and creation of asymmetric Pc systems having nitrogenated heterocycle 15a-c. On the other hand, the achievement of effective systems in terms of OL performance, the appropriate combination and modulation of several structural components. The optical limiting behaviour of 16, 19 and 20 measured at 532 nm indicates that this class of materials could be good candidates for broad band optical limiting application In addition to the preparation of dimeric (F16PcRu)2 23 which was proved by EXAFS spectroscopy and magnetic measurements.
