Abstract:

To address the high rates of GBV in South Africa, the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) implemented a project titled A Rapid Response: Addressing the Shadow Pandemic of SGBV within South Africa, funded by the FirstRand Empowerment Foundation (FREF) from December 2021- February 2024. The project was implemented in 48 communities across eight provinces in South Africa. This report highlights the key learnings from the report.
